Abingdon Airfield is situated in the heart of Oxfordshire, just five miles away from Oxford and one mile west of Abingdon town.

Arriving by Car
For users of satellite navigation, OX13 6JQ will direct you to Barrow Road. As soon as you see signs for Abingdon Air & Country Show, please follow them for the fastest route!
More precise instructions can be found below:
From the A34
Leave the A34 at the Abingdon/Marcham exit (not the Abingdon North exit) and follow signs for Marcham. After approximately 500 yards, turn right on to Blackhorse Lane and follow signs for Abingdon Air & Country Show on to Barrow Road and the public access gate.
From the A420
Turn onto the A415 (initially following signs for Kingston Bagpuize) and continue on the A415 until you have gone through Marcham. After approximately one mile, turn left on to Blackhorse Lane and follow signs for Abingdon Air & Country Show on to Barrow Road and the public access gate.
Arriving by public transport
The nearest mainline train station to Abingdon is Oxford, with connecting busses (city4, run by the Oxford Bus Company) from Oxford Centre and the Station to the airfield.
The nearest stop to the entrance is not the Dalton Barracks stop, but the Shippon (Barrow Road) stop, which is about half a mile from the airfield entrance (just walk along Barrow Road).
Once inside the airfield it is about one mile further along the perimeter track to the showground.
There is also the cityX3 service with fewer stops. This links Oxford to Abingdon and you would need to get a taxi from Abingdon town centre to Abingdon Airfield (Southern Entrance – not Dalton Barracks entrance).
